Calling all brunch enthusiasts — Chip Gaines and Joanna Gaines‘ new Waco, TX breakfast cafe is officially open for business! The couple’s latest business venture, a restaurant called Magnolia Table, started taking customers on Monday, Feb. 26 and we can’t wait to visit. Though the eatery does not take reservations, it does seat 210 people, features a main dining area, an outdoor coffee window, and a “market-style shop for guests to purchase gifts and grab select menu items to go.”

According to People, the cafe’s yummy menu includes breakfast favorites like oatmeal, bacon and eggs, donuts, pancakes, and french toast. Lunch dishes include avocado toast, a BLT sandwich, a Magnolia burger, seasonal soups and salads, and even desserts like cookies and ice cream.
Shortly before Magnolia Table’s official opening, Joanna — who is currently expecting her fifth baby with Chip! — took to Instagram to post a few photo of the restaurant’s inside. During the cafe’s construction, the HGTV couple also chronicled the building’s renovations on social media. On Tuesday, Jan. 9, Chip and Jo shared the exciting news with fans that the eatery was almost ready to open. “The restaurant is getting so close. Magnolia Table will be open soon and we can’t believe it?!?” Joanna captioned two cute pics of the duo.
The Fixer Upper stars previously announced in summer 2017 that they planned to open their first restaurant. “Opening a breakfast joint has always been something that Chip’s been interested in — and it’s been so fun to watch how excited he has been about the entire process,” Joanna wrote in a blog post at the time. “People always say the restaurant business is a beast — and we believe that, we aren’t naive to the fact that this is all new to us — but we are genuinely thrilled that we get the opportunity to restore a Waco treasure into something new.”
“After it closed its doors in 2016, we purchased the old Elite Cafe. It had been a Waco icon for nearly 100 years, and we couldn’t let a place with such a rich history be forgotten. Our family has so many great memories from Sunday brunches at the Elite, and judging by the walls on the inside of the building (which were lined with framed photos representing the restaurant’s past) I’m convinced that this place holds at least one memory for nearly everyone in Waco, TX,” Joanna continued.
“I’ve always been a breakfast connoisseur,” Chip told Southern Living. “I always do a heavy, bigger breakfast, but Jo is the exact opposite. She was kind enough to come with me on this one, and we are going to do up a breakfast joint here in town.” Congrats on your restaurant opening, Chip and Jo!
