Hannah Montana’s back! While everyone is dressing up as the edgy Miley Cyrus from the VMAs for Halloween, the 20-year-old singer is remembering her sweet, former Disney character instead.
Cyrus posted a photo of herself on Twitter Tuesday, Oct. 29, styling long brunette hair again. “Wigzzzzzz,” she captioned the selfie. In the snapshot, the “Wrecking Ball” singer shows off her fake hairdo that is reminiscent of her Hannah Montana character, and her hairstyle in the 2010 film The Last Song, where she met her now ex-fiance Liam Hemsworth.
But Hannah Montana is most likely not making a comeback. Cyrus also shared a photo of herself posing in a long purple wig with bangs with the caption: “Wigzzzzzz part 2.”
Cyrus infamously cut her long hair into a short punk pixie ‘do and bleached it blonde in August 2012. She told E! News in February 2012 that fans “will never see me with long hair again,” but changed her tune just six months later. “I’m secretly tugging on it every night and taking Viviscal,” she told pal Kelly Osbourne on E! Fashion Police of the hair-growth vitamin supplement. “I’m not going to lie. But I’m going to rock it while I have it.”

The “We Can’t Stop” singer explained in her MTV documentary earlier this month that she initially cut off all her hair to “let go of the past” so she could “be the bad bitch I am.”
During her opening monologue on Saturday Night Live on Oct. 5, Cyrus announced that her Hannah Montana character was gone forever. “I’m not going to do Hannah Montana,” she said of the show’s comedy sketch, “but I can give you an update on what she’s been up to — she’s been murdered.”
