GEORGE, Washington (CelebrityAccess) — After a brief pause, Aerosmith will resume their in-progress "Let Rock Rule" tour on August 16th when they take the stage at the Gorge Amphitheater in Washington State.
Aerosmith had canceled a concert this week at the Concord Pavilion in Concord, CA citing unspecified health issues for the cancellation. Entertainment industry blog TMZ.com reported rumors that Aerosmith drummer Joey Kramer was suffering from a heart condition and required surgery, but a tweet from the drummer has put the lie to these rumors.
“I'm feeling better than ever and I’ll be back sitting in the best seat in the house, hitting it harder than ever for our amazing fans. My gratitude and thanks for all the love and support showered on me during this time,” Kramer tweeted.
In a press release, a spokesperson for the band also noted that despite TMZ's claims, Kramer did not have a history of a heart condition and that the California show had been cancelled so that Kramer go undergo a minor medical procedure.
