Actress Benedicta Gafah REMOVES Fake Chanel Bag Being Sold From Her Instagram Page Following GhanaCe

Actress Benedicta Gafah is shameless and she is alleged to have bleached her skin. Gafah has been spotted selling several bleaching products including one boldly labelled “whitening soap” and another called “HalfCast Lotion” to her young credulous followers on Instagram.

A lot of Ghanaian Celebrities bleach with rumours that Gafah is one of these bleaching celebrities. Of course, if you are selling or promoting bleaching products openly on Instagram and your skin tone is becoming lighter and lighter, then the plausible explanation is that you are using your own products.

In 2017, Ghana’s Food and Drugs Authority issued a ban on the importation of all products which contain the skin-lightening chemical hydroquinone. This ban on skin bleaching creams followed that of neighbouring Ivory Coast, a major production point of bleaching products—but this has not stopped some Ghanaian Celebrities from bleaching or some pathetic ones like Benedicta Gafah from selling bleaching creams online.

Apart from the established health effects of skin bleaching, it’s embarrassing and grossly inappropriately for any person with young followers and in this case a person who has a huge following because of her regular appearance on TV to be promoting or selling skin bleaching products. But Gafah is doing it without any conscience—and as we said, she is shameless.

Yesterday, GhanaCelebrities.Com reported that the same Benedicta Gafah was selling fake Chanel bags on her verified Instagram page—another illegality. And soon after our report, she removed the said bag, a clear indication that she is aware of the consequence.

We reported that Ghanaian Celebrities are cheap but they pretend to be living expensive lives on social media. They pass on their fake designer bags and clothes as original–so that their credulous fans will regard them as having “arrived.”

GhanaCelebrities.Com has spotted Benedicta Gafah using her verified Instagram page to sell/promote an Instagram page called gab_beauty which carries several photos of herself–and the page sells bags among other accessories. She also posts photos of these designer bags with a number to contact if you want to make a purchase.

Because we at GhanaCelebrities.Com are aware of how much Ghanaian Celebrities love fake designer stuff, we were certain the Chanel bags Gafah was selling on her page were all FAKE.

So, we Whatsapped the number which comes with her posts and asked for the price of the Chanel shoulder bag, and we were quoted the price of 650 GHS–which is less than £100.

A quick check online at official Chanel outlets revealed that the bag sells for almost £5,000. And here we have Gafah and her cronies, selling it for less than £100–a clear confirmation that it’s a knock off.

Selling fake designer products is illegal as it’s a violation of someone’s trademark but a lot of Ghanaian Celebrities are into fakies–because they want to keep up with the Jones.

A few years ago, Yvonne Nelson was busted–as someone who owns several fake Louis Vuitton bags.

Ghanaian Celebrities are constantly pushing to fake it on social media to claim that they are ballin’ when they are not really up there. That’s why you should never envy them–it’s mostly FAKE.

It’s not shocking that Gafah is into the promoting and selling of bleaching products. After all, she is rumoured to be the side chick of Bishop Obinim–a popular Ghanaian pastor who is alleged to have bleached too.
